Windows 11 441 unknown exe files with random names appeared in C:\ directory. What are they, can they be deleted?

Hi,I've just now noticed that 441 ".exe" files with random names have appeared in the C:\ directory of my laptop. No subfolder, just C:.The names are composed of letters and numbers (example: ZEVtdX5GA), are 1.074 KB in size and have been generated on 18/05/2023 in less than 1:30 hrs. Last modified dates indicate from 10:22 AM to 11:43 AM. (in groups of 4-6 files with the same time)Creation dates include more files and precede the last modification by 1 to 4 minutes.They all display the generic exe file icon with the "administrator" shield on the bottom right.There weren't any signs of problem
