If you use the new modern settings interface to set up your DNS server addresses for your Ethernet adapters, then you have only two options.A preferred and an alternative address. If you instead use the old System Controls Settings menu, you have two options: go to your Ethernet adapter Settings and then to your DNS Settings either for IPv4 or IPv6. But when clicking on the advanced settings and going to the DNS Tab it is possible to add more than two addresses for an Adapter.
