Windows 11 After a horrible Windows Update 2 days ago, windows security files are missing and I can't get in

After a horrible Windows Update 2 days ago, had to reset and now edge, windows security won't work at all. Tried several fixes fromforum here and youtube, but still nothing in folder and either a black screen or message stating that I don't have permission keeps appearing. This is ridiculous.
