Windows 11 After KB5035942 update installed, second monitor not working properly

My ASUS Zenbook laptop is x64 running Windows 11 23H2. I always have a second monitor connected as the inbuilt monitor has a terrible glitch. The second monitor is used most of the time.This morning, Windows Update ran and installed KB5035942. As soon as installation was complete, my second monitor screen went black.I was able to switch back to the inbuilt monitor. If I switch to only work with the second monitor, the second monitor goes black. If I use extended mode, the second monitor shows properly, with task bar showing.
