I was having trouble connecting to a few sites yesterday, and a networking friend recommended I reset my DNS. Looking online, I came across this link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-networking/windows-8-will-not-resolve-dns/034de50d-a8ef-4bff-b627-76182dc07646
I followed the instructions, reset my wireless modem, and it worked. However, when I went back to work on a virtual Ubuntu machine I'm running through VirtualBox, I find I can no longer connect to it via SSH. I know this isn't the place for VirtualBox questions, but I suspect it's a Windows networking/firewall issue, and I have no idea how to even diagnose which end to look at this from, so was hoping someone here could help.
