Windows 11 After Windows 11 update KB4023057 the mouse started acting erratically

After Windows 11 update KB4023057 my mouse started "jumping away" at times when I would try to select an item. Trying to electronically sign my name was impossible. I checked out the mouse properties and the events showed that they were modified on the day and time of this exact update.
