Windows 11 Airpods pro 2 conncect through bluetooth but play no sound then disconncect in few seconds

Im having problems with connecting my airpods pro 2 to my windows 11 pc. When they connect and i wear them either the sound play in 1 ear or none for few seconds then just disconnects or plays no sound. Do i need to buy a new bluetooth adapter or will it just not work? Becuase online all it says it just conncects but my sound dowsnt play and it just disconnects after few seconds.
