Windows 11 Almost all my files on my phone have disappeared after I finished setting up the Phone Link app.

Hi, so this morning I finished setting up my Phone Link, and later it came to attention that except for my apps and accounts, almost all my files, photos and videos on my phone were GONE without a trace. So I thought maybe the files were transferred to my laptop. I tried to check and it says on the settings of the Phone Link app “transferred files will save to…...”. It first says to “Phone Link” folder in “Downloads”. I looked up and checked, and there wasn’t any folder named Phone Link in the first place.
