Hello, Starting about 2 weeks ago, my alt codes have stopped working. I'm using Windows 10, and my laptop has a separate Numpad on the keyboard. For a lot of alt codes, it will now only show a "?" after I inputted it in. For example, if I typed "alt" "0" "2" "2" "8", it will only show a "?". Other times, especially after I inputted a "+" with the alt code, it will show characters, but just not the right one. For example, if I typed "alt" "+" "0" "2" "2" "8" it will show a "Ȩ", where it originally should show an a with an umlaut. I also have already tried and added a string to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Input Method through regedit, in reference to this thread: ALT Codes Not Working Thank you very much for helping me.
