Windows 10 AOL Email Account Settings Out of Date

Why does Windows not accept my valid AOL account login password for my AOL email account?When I click on "Fix Account" for the AOL account, I'm presented a panel for entering my email account password. I've tried entering the password several times. But moments after submitting the password attempt, I'm presented the system message letting me know that Windows can't access the account...perhaps the password is out of date or I need to update my sync settings.I can log into "aol.com" using the same password and view mail there. I've also looked for ways to change my sync settings but don't see
