Last week my copies of Lightroom and Photoshop were working fine, this week they hang and crash. I spent over an hour with Adobe remotely connected trying fixes and we've come to the conclusion it's a Windows permission error. I am admin on this PC and I am the only one who uses it. I have reinstalled windows and Lightroom. Running the program as admin changes nothing, nor did any of the other fixes we tried. EventViewer shows an Application hang with event ID 1002. I've tried so many things and nothing is working to fix this.
Windows (home) is on a SSD, none of my drives show any errors and I don't have any external drives plugged in as I saw reports that can cause issues. I'm currently moving my pictures folder to a separate drive to see if this makes a difference as that's how it used to be before I formatted and reinstalled to fix some strange Windows errors.
My PC has the latest version of Win 10 (and Adobe products) and has way more power than it needs to run the programs.
Thanks in advance
