don't know if this discussion is already being had, too many problem threads to go through...i exclusively use hifi headphones to listen to music and other audio on my laptop, but i've noticed lately that i couldn't always get the sound on a comfortable level. finally today i went looking and found audio enhancements in settings, and device default effects was on; only when i turned it off, the music became more natural and bearable.can anybody tell me what exactly this feature is supposed to do (i can already guess compression) or if you've noticed something similar? i think it must've starte
