Hello I have a brand new computer just built, Ryzen 7 3700, ASUS tuf gaming b550 plus wifi motherboard, msi raedon rx 5700 xt gpu. I had all updates current as of Feb 10, 2021. On Feb 11th, the very next day I had windows saying I need updates, then I had it do all the updates listed. Now I can no longer get sound while using my tv while using a hdmi cable like I was previous to this issue
- It's not the tv, its a 1yr old samsung q70 65" tv, flawlessly works with everything else (id check another computer but I don't have another).
- the hdmi cable is fine, it is gold tipped connection and works flawlessly in every tv, even with my ps4 and xbox gaming console.
- everything worked previous to the updates.
- I've tried rolling back some driver updates and still have the same issue.
I also see some of the same issues listed on this forum, but in all honesty the answers vary a bit. Any suggestions?
