Windows 10 Audio sounds alot lower when in a video game?

so, i had and always have used my audio on 60 (windows), and never changed the in game audio settings in video games.but recently, when i tried to play a game, spesificly skyrim, the audio is just alot lower? even when i boost the volume to 100 (yes checked volume mixer), and boosted all the sounds to the maximum in game, it was still barely as loud as it was? this problem has never occured to me before, and when i test my audio/sound, it all sounded normal, and on other programs such as youtube, the audio is normal.curently, im using a laptop, with windows 10, RealtekR as the speakers, with 1
