Hello Microsoft Community,
I experiencing a problem with the Backup option.
File History won't backup all files of a designated folder. As you can see, it should back up the entire "Documents" with all its subfolders.
But it only backs up about 95 % of the included folders and files. It seems to miss the most recently updated folders and files specifically.
I can't seem to find a workaround. I tried formating the USB drive two times, I tried removing the USB drive as a backup option and adding it again as a backup option. There is no "error message" or such thing, so the system does not give me a hint, that it can not back up this lastest files. I only discovered that the backup is only of 95 % of the files by accident.
The laptop is a Lenovo Yoga C640 I3IML. No Windows update needed as I write this post.
I'm thankful for any hint on how I might solve this issue. I apoligize if there is a already a similar post and I did not find it.
Thank you for your time.
