Windows 10 Battery won't charge and connecting to Wi-Fi results in a blue screen

Hi all, I've been trying to restore a somewhat old ASUS laptop so that I can use it for my studies. I've managed to get it in working order, but there are two issues I can't fix. Firstly, the battery won't charge. It stays at 0% no matter how long I let it charge, even though it says it's charging. I've tried reinstalling the battery drivers and manually removing and reinstalling the battery itself. Secondly, trying to connect to my home Wi-Fi results in a near-instant blue screen.
