Windows 11 Bitlocker confirmed off in system 1, when I plugged in drive into system 2, Bitlocker is confirmed on.

How did Bitlocker get turned on in the second machine if I never had the drive there prior to today? Did this happen due to a system update? Do I need to remove all updates to system 2 to see my drive again?
