Windows 10 Bitlocker encrypted my iSCSI volume after attaching it to Surface Book without asking me!

HiI have the exact same issue as this post (now locked). Redirecting had a NAS with an iscsi volume for years. I use it with my desktop PC as a chunk of storage. I've got about 10 years of school plays of the kids, wedding videos, all those things that aren't on the cloud, along with chunks of backups from Unity etc. It's been in place for probably 5+ years working fine.
