I run a dual monitor setup, custom build, as follows:
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 10586) (10586.th2_release.160802-1857)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: To be filled by O.E.M.
System Model: To be filled by O.E.M.
BIOS: BIOS Date: 01/06/14 10:27:10 Ver: 04.06.05
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core Processor (8 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 16284MB RAM
Page File: 9806MB used, 8908MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
DirectX Version: 12
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
User DPI Setting: Using System DPI
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled
Miracast: Not Available
Microsoft Graphics Hybrid: Not Supported
DxDiag Version: 10.00.10586.0000 64bit Unicode
So, essentially, I attempt to start any of the above three games, and they'll start loading the splash screens on the main screens, but before the interface for any of these games actually loads, the second screen flickers a bunch of times and then both screens go blank, with just a cursor. Nothing works: Ctrl+alt+delete, power button, windows button, etc. Just a black screen and a cursor.
I end up having to force the computer to shutdown, and when it comes back, I get a whole bunch of these in Windows Error Reporting:
Faulting application name: dwm.exe, version: 10.0.10586.0, time stamp: 0x5632d756

What I've tried:
- System File Checker
- Antivirus scan (Avast)
- Antimalware scan (Malwarebytes)
- AppCrashView (none of the above crash times are visible)
- Uninstalling/reinstalling Nvidia video files/drivers (including GeForce Experience)
All of these games worked fine several months ago, and I can run even older games than these. I can also run graphics-intensive games like Assassin's Creed Unity. While the graphics card is 4 years old, it was very high-end when I got it, and there have not been any other signs of graphics card failure. Everything else runs mostly normal, the only other hiccup is some minor issues with USB devices uninstalling/reinstalling themselves (random unplugged/plugged back in noises/notifications), which could potentially be the motherboard? It could also be a software issue.
Ideas?
