The chain of events were like this :

1. The windows was updating or maybe updated and I was in a hurry for classes so I pressed alt+f4 and enter but as soon I was pressing enter it said "shut down and update...." like something.

2. It took a while shutting down and then when I opened it after the class it also took a while and showed updating 1of 2 with 100% and after two minutes started preparing for 2 of 2.

3. Unlike 1of 2 it took much time and after 92 % or so it restarted automatically and then again started updating.

4. Finally after updating it showed me the login window.

5. I logged in and everything was normal like it should be then I went to select " My computer" and after opening the window it showed not responding. Just before clicking my computer I switched off the Wi-Fi.

6. So I tried to close it but nothing happened.

7. After a while everything goes black and nothing on screen except the cursor.

8. I opened task manager and it was showing like 99% CPU usage.

9. Then I tried to run a new task of explorer.exe only to find out it was already running.

10. Then I left it just open in that form for about an hour but nothing changed.

11. I checked in winlog of the windows NT shell it is already explorer.exe.

12. I tried safe mode with networking but failed as black screen with cursor even in safe mode.

13. Win+p does not work.

14. Once I got the message dell update service was unable to update.
Close the program or wait for responding. I chose closing it.

15. What else I noted is an error message while restarting and while on rebooting with shift+restart. Picture at : View: http://imgur.com/uA9bvY9

16. One important thing I think I should mention is that I was getting notifications to update the amd graphics for a week but I never did it.

Is there any hope to save the data in this case or will it only be solved by a new clean install after formatting.
