Windows 7 blue box following my cursor around

I had an issue with a blue box following my cursor around.


I resolved it by going into Control Panel >Mouse Properties >Pointers Tab> and selected "Use Default" below the Customize pointer options.


The other thread I was looking at didn't resolve the issue.
