Windows 11 Boot Linux Mint from USB on Windows 11

I have a new Dell computer running windows 11 Pro. On occasion I like to run Linux Mint off a usb drive. When I restart and attempt to boot from the usb drive the option is not available. I have the option of booting from a local drive or a couple NIC options. I had no problem doing this on Win 10 and earlier releases. I do not want to run a dual boot system. How do I simply boot linux and run linux from a usb drive on Windows 11?
