Windows 11 Brand new computer power up question

I just bought brand new Microsoft surface pro (newest addition, one without the keyboard) and charged it for a little while and turned it on. It just shows a Microsoft logo on the screen and won’t turn on or progress past this logo. Is this normal for my first time powering it on or is it broken?
