Windows 10 Brighter cursor for HDR screens?

So, when you use Windows 10 wit a HDR screen, you have to settle for some fixed SDR mapping (via the HDR/SDR balance slider in the HDR settings).


Unfortunately, the entire Windows UI is so far only designed for SDR, and does not make any use of the capabilities of an HDR display. Not even where it would make unconditionally sense, such as providing literal *highlights* at the cursor position.


That be said, is there any software which does provide just that? Cursors which are using a higher brightness than the rest of the UI, in order to better pop out?


HDR screens have plenty of brightness to spare, above the 150-200 nits you have chosen as "paper-white" for SDR content, and going to 250-300 nits for the cursor alone would be more than just appropriate.
