Windows 11 Brightness not working

Hi All,Recently I've noticed that my screen doesn't get nearly as bright as it used to and so I tried to change the brightness settings with the slider but it doesn't do anything! Even when I plug my charger into the laptop when it's dying, the screen brightness doesn't change at all. This is really frustrating so If anyone could help at all it would be appreciated. For context, I have a Inspiron 15 3520 and the most recent update I have is 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040442).
