Hello,

I've had three BSOD crashes within the past week and trying to troubleshoot the issue. From what I remember, it crashes while I'm playing video games that are pretty demanding on the computer, but I've been able to play it fine for months until now. I think there's usually also other programs running in the background, particularly my browser Opera GX. The code I've always gotten is PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.

What I tried

  • I've run the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool today and it doesn't seem like it resulted in anything.
  • I've run the Driver Verifier using these instructions and it did crash two times after restarting. Both times, I got stop code DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION which I figured is normal, but no information about which driver is causing this. Afterwards, Windows couldn't restart and made me go back to a recovery point that I made a day ago.

Minidump

Here is a link to a OneDrive zip folder containing two dmp files. The 042021 one is right after my device recovered after running Driver Verifier today. I think the 041521 one is from when it crashed before; not sure if it's relevant, but I included it just in case.

I will continue troubleshooting on my own and update with any new info or progress. I was reading through the Event Log and suspecting that it may be the new Intel Graphics Driver update since these issues started happening after I installed that. I'll see if I can roll back that update.

In the meantime, if anyone can take a look at the dmp files and/or have any other ideas, please let me know. Also let me know if I need to provide additional information.

Thanks!
