Windows 11 BSOD SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION with Canon printers

Hi,Recently (say last three or so weeks) I started getting BSOD whenever connecting a Canon printer to the USB port I used in the past. The stop code is SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION and "what failed" shows Wdf01000. In order to remedy that, I did several things like uninstalling the latest Windows update, uninstalling and installing Canon utilities and reinstalling OS but that did not work. It is frustrating so help is needed.
