Windows 11 Can anyone help with USB-C and the USB4 Root Router not going to sleep and to work properly?

My laptop is running Windows 11 Home version. I have to use the USB-C port to plug in an external microphone to record audio. I'm having two problems thereafter: 1. When I go to Device Manager to check the Power Management tab for the USB4 Root Router, it keeps showing as selected for "Allow this computer to turn off this device" after I've specifically de-selected it. I do not want that selected, but somehow it keeps getting reset, if you will, or default to being selected. I need that always to remain unchecked.2.
