My laptop hard drive crashed.
After crash, I was able to go to command prompt and tried to que the C:\ drive. The C:\ drive failed. So I
tried the D:\ drive and it came up as "0" bytes used.
I am guessing the laptop is all good except for hard drive, so i replaced the defective hard drive with a new solid state drive.
Now I need to install Windows 10. I bought a "WIN PRO 10 64 bit" CD that is sealed/unopened and intended for pre-installation on a hard drive of a pre assembled computer system.
Will the "WIN PRO 10 64 bit" CD work for me? The laptop was running Windows 10 Home and has an optical drive.
