I have been trying to delete a folder that contains 4 files left over from an Origin installation. For some reason, possibly from a now dead virus, I no longer have permission to do anything to the file/s and neither does anyone else on my computer (I am the only one but built in Administrator does not have permissions). I have tried to take ownership the regular way through explorer, I have tried through Command Prompt, I have then tried both while running as administrator. I have tried these on the built in admin account as well. I then tried to force delete through Command Prompt: Admin but I still got the access denied message. Is there a way to force windows to delete the file? Or a way to force a change of ownership? I don't care about the files, I just want them gone so that I can re-install the program (it won't install with them there). Thanks.
Edit: I was able to install the program by putting the program in a different folder but this is still an annoying issue.
