Windows 11 Can the installation of Windows 11 Pro in a unit incompatible of it affect the acknowledgement of a headset's microphone?

I had a technician upgrade my laptop's storage and RAM by adding an NVME m2 500 GB and 8 GB SODIMM RAM. He insisted on installing a Windows 11 Pro, which is incompatible with my unit ( I have an Acer Aspire 5 A514-52K-30NA that had a Windows 10 Home 22H2 ) I have a headset with an external microphone, Logitech H151 with a 3.5mm jack, that worked well before the upgrade and installation happened. Now, my headset's sound output works but its microphone doesn't. The microphone in Control Panel only acknowledges my laptop's microphone.
