We are attempting to connect to an old radio in order to diagnose some issues with it, and the only thing that can do that is a 16-bit software created for Win95. I was able to install it in a Windows XP mode virtual machine (on an old Win7 host machine) but I am unable to connect. We have tried a couple different RS232 - RJ45 cables, including one we made ourselves. The port settings are supposed to be 9600 8N1, no flow control, but we've tried that and all the variations thereof and no luck. However, with 9600 8N1 on the host machine using TeraTerm and Putty I was able to connect. Unfortunat
