Windows 10 Can't log in to Windows because code sent to email I can no longer access

Hi,This is a curly one!I can't log into my Windows laptop (Surface 5), because it sent me a new code to an email address I cancelled and can no longer access. (I tried recovering the gmail address but can't).I then authenticated myself to Microsoft so was able to log in. I then requested Microsoft to grant access to a new email address...however it won't allow me to make that change for another 30 days, given I had to authenticate myself to Microsoft to log in.I'm totally stuck, don't know how to work around this problem.Please advise!Many thanks,
