Windows 10 Can't reinstall printer on Windows 10

I have a HP2700 series printer. It wasn't working this morning so I decided to uninstall it and reinstall it but it wont let me.When i click 'add printer' on the HP app it 'finds' the printer , but when it comes to 'configuring printer' it takes ages then fails so can't go to the next 2 steps - join the network and finish connections.Could anyone please advise me how to get it set up again or will I have to buy a new printer? thanksI also tried adding it back via my laptop by going to printers and scanners and then when I click add printer it finds it ok and ask for the WPS PIN and it says 'co
