When I try to eject the USB storage device, a pop-up shows this:

"Problem Ejecting USB Attatched SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device

The application '\Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\System32\SearchIndexer.exe' is preventing this device from being stopped. Close the application and then try to stop the device again."

The same problem with yj94 (Nov. 3, 2014)

I also don't have anything open, my laptop is just turned on. Unlike yj94 my laptop shuts down when I try to shut it down while the USB is connected in hopes to get rid of the glitch.
