Windows 11 Can’t type in PIN or reset PIN

My Lenovo laptop ran an update. When it restarted I tried to sign in but could not type my PIN. cursor responded to my mouse but neither the laptop nor WiFi keyboard are able to enter letter or numbers. Tried to reset the PIN but could not type in the code that Microsoft sent to my email. Seems like this is a Microsoft problem and I need help with it.
