I have an asus cd/dvd player/burner in my desktop and windows 10 doesn't seem to want to play the disks. I know the drive works because I had to use the drive to install windows 10 to begin with, this is a brand new desktop build. I am not sure if it stopped working after a windows update, but it doesn't seem to want to play anything. I put in a dvd and it will show up in file explorer and even say the name of the disk. And I can see the files on the disk as well, but can't play the movie. With CD's it will say "unknown" and list all the tracks but not the names of them. I open windows media player and it acknowledges that there's a disk in D: but it won't play anything. I have uninstalled the drive from device manager, rebooted and let it reinstall. I downloaded the drives from asus site but device manager says it has the latest drives already. Any help would be much appreciated on this as I am not able to find anything on google searches that match the exact issue I am having. Anything remotely close is of no help that I can find so far.
In case it's relevant, this is windows 10 pro, 64 bit.
