Windows 10 CD-R recognized as DVD RW on windows 11, will not let me burn CDDA files to disc

Not much more to say, I have tried to burn the files in multiple formats including MP3 and M4A and the "burn to disc" option is greyed and unavailable. I have checked my disc port and it looks fine, I have inserted multiple different blank CDs into this computer with no luck of it identifying them. I have successfully burned a different brand of CD in years past but this is my first attempt in a few years.
