Windows 11 certain keys only work when another key is pressed down

I have an Asus ROG flow x13, and certain keys on my keyboard have some issues- An external keyboard works fine-different restarts causes different keys to fail, but its usually the middle row (A to ‘) keys- holding down a different button first allows every key to have the correct input. for example, if i press and hold down S followed by an immediate backspace to prevent S from repeating continuously, i can then press other keys that were not working previous while S is held down.- weird thing i noticed is that if i run my finger through the keyboard continuously from A to L it works perfectl
