When recording audio on my new HP Envy laptop, certain words/sounds are muted. Specifically when I’ve put emphasis on the word or it’s a word that starts with a hard consonant…like the “c” in could gets muted. This happens whether I’m using a usb mic or AirPods to record, and it also happens whether I’m recording in the built in Sound Recording program on the laptop or the Audacity app I downloaded. The same words/parts of words are muted. This makes me think the issue must be with the laptop itself or Windows 11. There has to be some setting making the audio clip, but I can’t figure it out.
