Windows 10 Checker Board Glitch

I noticed a week or two ago, that every once in awhile, a checkerboard pattern appears on my screen. It happens completely at random and is only on a small portion of the screen for about half a second and only when I'm using Google Chrome. I don't have any problems otherwise. I just want to know what could possibly be causing this.
