Windows 10 Code 43 on Nvidia GPU after Windows 10 update

My GPU (Nvidia GTX 1060) is showing "code 43" error after the Windows 10 20H2 update, which I was forced to install after rejecting it several times. I tried updating the drivers, with a "clean installation" selected, to no avail. Disabling and enabling the GPU on device manager also didn't work, same with the solution proposed here. EDIT: While I might try recovery options to go back to a previous state, I decided it's best to format my PC and install W10 Enterprise Edition or LTSC, since it doesn't install major updates that might render my PC unusable.
