Windows 10 Computer, especially some specific programs and actions, lag after a day or so post reboot

So I'm really up a creek on this one.Basically, I reboot my computer and everything is fine. After about a day or so, things start to lag -- for instance, when I try to load up a file in any program that accesses Window Explorer it's very clear. Using, for instance, Mp3Tag is very very clunky and glacial, as almost every action, even just loading up a DIR, takes up time. It's not just files, even opening the start menu has a very clear lag to it.
