Computer locked up yesterday, screen was flashing and computer would not respond to any of my efforts to unlock it. I was instructed by the screen message to call the Microsoft support at 855-236-0365. This company is Tekies Data Solution. While the did fix my computer, they didn't seem like a real legit company when I called their Web phone number. They charged me $ 499 to fix it, installed Norton Anti-Virus, and removed WebRoot my existing Anti-Virus program. Is this company a legit (sub-contractor) for Microsoft ? Have you heard of this Flashing Screen / Lock-Up before ? Did I get Scammed ?
