Hello everyone,
My computer got weird one day, it wouldn't shutdown (fortunately this one is fixed), hibernate or sleep. It always wakes up unless I pull the plug, I've spoken with my IT teachers and they gave me some tips but none worked, like see event viewer, task scheduler (checked all manually), check connections etc. I switched the cases before, but the case I used had no problems and even switched back to the old one to check if it wasn't a case problem, my current case being the 4th one due to lack of space on the previous ones.

I always used hibernation and I can't use both hibernate or sleep since the PC will always turn on, I pulled all devices including mouse, keyboard and anything else plugged.
The situation is better now because before the PC would turn on and I quickly clicked on the button to shut it down and it would turn off and on again really quickly, now I can click on the button and it will turn off.

The BIOS has been reset some times because sleep mode causes the PC to have that blinking light which is normal and then it's like it restarts, doesn't shut down or anything, just boots up showing the mobo's brand with a message displaying "load BIOS values to default" or to "insert them manually".

I also noticed something weird, when I turn off the PSU and press the power button to discharge energy, the mobo's light shuts off immediately and the two external HDDs even lose power and then somehow, the mobo and disks turn on again for 2 seconds or so. All this with the power turned off in the back. Before, it would take a click on the power button and 1-2 seconds later the PC would lose all energy without turning the lights on again.

Also, the PC successfully entered hibernation mode 2 times but it turns on after some minutes, like 4-10. And I've been going to sleep at 5pm and the PC stays in hibernation without turning on for an undetermined amount of time but at other time than that, it turns on.

What else can I do? It's really annoying to have to turn off the PC on the back every time (and I am not going to format my PC because this is very likely a hardware problem).
