I have Windows 7 on a desktop computer and it's always kept up-to-date. Every few days, I download the 64-bit MSERT from here (Microsoft Safety Scanner Download).
When I ran that scanner a week ago, I noticed that it was telling me that there were 33 infected files WHILE it was still running. How can that BE? What am I missing here? Does it mean that I have deeply-rooted infection in 33 of my files? Help!
