I have an old Dell Inspiron with windows 7. I tried everything imaginable on the dell website for network adapters, wireless connectivity, device manager, configs, everything. I don't have the Intel Centrino 2230 installed in my computer I am wodering if that is the problem. My network adapter is the DW1501 Wireless-N Wlan Half-Mini Card and it says its working well. I already uninstalled it and installed it. It doesn't work. I also have a Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2 and Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller under network adapters that's all and I see on youtube other computers and laptops have more than that.
I already tried trouble shooting everything possible on my computer and I still get the problem "Problem with wireless adapter or access point" I tried everything on the Internet to fix this problem.
I can't figure out what is wrong. Help! I am very frustrated.
