Windows 10 Constant 100% Disk usage when PC is idle normal usage when I'm using the PC

Every time I leave my PC on for several minutes without running any programs disk usage jumps to 100% with minimal (0-3%) usage of the CPU and GPU whenever I open something like chrome or other program disk usage falls down back to normal levels.Checked in the Resource Monitor and it seems System is the process the is causing it.I have looked only for possible solutions and have been suggested disabling Windows Search and Superfetch Service but the issue still persists did a virus scan and it came out clean.
