I recently had to replace a hard drive on my old Dell XPS 8100 that was running Win 10. A few years ago I replaced the OS (C drive with a 3tb Western Digital but the system would only recognize 2tb because of the MBR partition. I figured now would be a good time to also look at that issue and I'm wishing I had just left it alone. I did the conversion to GPT just to find out that the old bios in the pc is legacy only (no UEFI support) so it can't boot the drive anymore - I know . . . stupid!!
