Windows 11 Convertible HP Laptop - The keyboard and touchpad have stopped working due to Windows updates (issue persists even after downgrading to windows 10)

Both keyboard and touchpad work fine in BIOS (so isn't a hardware issue). I downgraded my windows 11 to windows 10, for a week my keyboard and touchpad started working again. But after 7 days, there was an automatic installation of updates and now they are not working again. I have uninstalled all updates, but the problem still persists. I have continuously updated all drivers as well. I have been to several repair shops and everyone has pointed out that it is an issue of Windows with convertible laptops (mine is HP Pavilion x360). Please help
